| CVE-2022-29162 | 1 Linuxfoundation | 1 Runc | 2022-06-02 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
| runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers on Linux according to the OCI specification. A bug was found in runc prior to version 1.1.2 where `runc exec --cap` created processes with non-empty inheritable Linux process capabilities, creating an atypical Linux environment and enabling programs with inheritable file capabilities to elevate those capabilities to the permitted set during execve(2). This bug did not affect the container security sandbox as the inheritable set never contained more capabilities than were included in the container's bounding set. This bug has been fixed in runc 1.1.2. This fix changes `runc exec --cap` behavior such that the additional capabilities granted to the process being executed (as specified via `--cap` arguments) do not include inheritable capabilities. In addition, `runc spec` is changed to not set any inheritable capabilities in the created example OCI spec (`config.json`) file. | |||||

| CVE-2022-29622 | 1 Formidable Project | 1 Formidable | 2022-06-02 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in formidable v3.1.4 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted filename. NOTE: some third parties dispute this issue because the product has common use cases in which uploading arbitrary files is the desired behavior. Also, there are configuration options in all versions that can change the default behavior of how files are handled. | |||||
| CVE-2021-42581 | 1 Ramdajs | 1 Ramda | 2022-06-02 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| ** DISPUTED ** Prototype poisoning in function mapObjIndexed in Ramda 0.27.0 and earlier allows attackers to compromise integrity or availability of application via supplying a crafted object (that contains an own property "__proto__") as an argument to the function. NOTE: the vendor disputes this because the observed behavior only means that a user can create objects that the user didn't know would contain custom prototypes. | |||||
| CVE-2022-26889 | 1 Splunk | 1 Splunk | 2022-06-02 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| In Splunk Enterprise versions before 8.1.2, the uri path to load a relative resource within a web page is vulnerable to path traversal. It allows an attacker to potentially inject arbitrary content into the web page (e.g., HTML Injection, XSS) or bypass SPL safeguards for risky commands. The attack is browser-based. An attacker cannot exploit the attack at will and requires the attacker to initiate a request within the victim's browser (e.g., phishing). | |||||
| CVE-2022-30293 | 1 Webkitgtk | 1 Webkitgtk | 2022-06-02 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| In WebKitGTK through 2.36.0 (and WPE WebKit), there is a heap-based buffer overflow in WebCore::TextureMapperLayer::setContentsLayer in WebCore/platform/graphics/texmap/TextureMapperLayer.cpp. | |||||
| CVE-2022-24903 | 2 Fedoraproject, Rsyslog | 2 Fedora, Rsyslog | 2022-06-02 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
| Rsyslog is a rocket-fast system for log processing. Modules for TCP syslog reception have a potential heap buffer overflow when octet-counted framing is used. This can result in a segfault or some other malfunction. As of our understanding, this vulnerability can not be used for remote code execution. But there may still be a slight chance for experts to do that. The bug occurs when the octet count is read. While there is a check for the maximum number of octets, digits are written to a heap buffer even when the octet count is over the maximum, This can be used to overrun the memory buffer. However, once the sequence of digits stop, no additional characters can be added to the buffer. In our opinion, this makes remote exploits impossible or at least highly complex. Octet-counted framing is one of two potential framing modes. It is relatively uncommon, but enabled by default on receivers. Modules `imtcp`, `imptcp`, `imgssapi`, and `imhttp` are used for regular syslog message reception. It is best practice not to directly expose them to the public. When this practice is followed, the risk is considerably lower. Module `imdiag` is a diagnostics module primarily intended for testbench runs. We do not expect it to be present on any production installation. Octet-counted framing is not very common. Usually, it needs to be specifically enabled at senders. If users do not need it, they can turn it off for the most important modules. This will mitigate the vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2022-30284 | 1 Python-libnmap Project | 1 Python-libnmap | 2022-06-02 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| ** DISPUTED ** In the python-libnmap package through 0.7.2 for Python, remote command execution can occur (if used in a client application that does not validate arguments). NOTE: the vendor believes it would be unrealistic for an application to call NmapProcess with arguments taken from input data that arrived over an untrusted network, and thus the CVSS score corresponds to an unrealistic use case. None of the NmapProcess documentation implies that this is an expected use case. | |||||
| CVE-2022-24792 | 1 Teluu | 1 Pjsip | 2022-06-02 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. A denial-of-service vulnerability affects applications on a 32-bit systems that use PJSIP versions 2.12 and prior to play/read invalid WAV files. The vulnerability occurs when reading WAV file data chunks with length greater than 31-bit integers. The vulnerability does not affect 64-bit apps and should not affect apps that only plays trusted WAV files. A patch is available on the `master` branch of the `pjsip/project` GitHub repository. As a workaround, apps can reject a WAV file received from an unknown source or validate the file first. | |||||
| CVE-2022-25648 | 1 Git | 1 Git | 2022-06-02 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| The package git before 1.11.0 are vulnerable to Command Injection via git argument injection. When calling the fetch(remote = 'origin', opts = {}) function, the remote parameter is passed to the git fetch subcommand in a way that additional flags can be set. The additional flags can be used to perform a command injection. | |||||
| CVE-2022-24793 | 1 Pjsip | 1 Pjsip | 2022-06-02 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |

| CVE-2022-24734 | 1 Mybb | 1 Mybb | 2022-06-02 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 7.2 HIGH |
| MyBB is a free and open source forum software. In affected versions the Admin CP's Settings management module does not validate setting types correctly on insertion and update, making it possible to add settings of supported type `php` with PHP code, executed on on _Change Settings_ pages. This results in a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability. The vulnerable module requires Admin CP access with the `Can manage settings?` permission. MyBB's Settings module, which allows administrators to add, edit, and delete non-default settings, stores setting data in an options code string ($options_code; mybb_settings.optionscode database column) that identifies the setting type and its options, separated by a new line character (\n). In MyBB 1.2.0, support for setting type php was added, for which the remaining part of the options code is PHP code executed on Change Settings pages (reserved for plugins and internal use). MyBB 1.8.30 resolves this issue. There are no known workarounds. | |||||
