| CVE-2016-20012 | 2 Netapp, Openbsd | 5 Clustered Data Ontap, Hci Management Node, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 2 more | 2022-02-24 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| ** DISPUTED ** OpenSSH through 8.7 allows remote attackers, who have a suspicion that a certain combination of username and public key is known to an SSH server, to test whether this suspicion is correct. This occurs because a challenge is sent only when that combination could be valid for a login session. NOTE: the vendor does not recognize user enumeration as a vulnerability for this product. | |||||
| CVE-2021-21705 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Php | 3 Clustered Data Ontap, Sd-wan Aware, Php | 2022-02-22 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In PHP versions 7.3.x below 7.3.29, 7.4.x below 7.4.21 and 8.0.x below 8.0.8, when using URL validation functionality via filter_var() function with FILTER_VALIDATE_URL parameter, an URL with invalid password field can be accepted as valid. This can lead to the code incorrectly parsing the URL and potentially leading to other security implications - like contacting a wrong server or making a wrong access decision. | |||||
| CVE-2021-21707 | 2 Netapp, Php | 2 Clustered Data Ontap, Php | 2022-02-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In PHP versions 7.3.x below 7.3.33, 7.4.x below 7.4.26 and 8.0.x below 8.0.13, certain XML parsing functions, like simplexml_load_file(), URL-decode the filename passed to them. If that filename contains URL-encoded NUL character, this may cause the function to interpret this as the end of the filename, thus interpreting the filename differently from what the user intended, which may lead it to reading a different file than intended. | |||||
| CVE-2021-3712 | 6 Debian, Mcafee, Netapp and 3 more | 16 Debian Linux, Epolicy Orchestrator, Clustered Data Ontap and 13 more | 2022-02-08 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 7.4 HIGH |
| ASN.1 strings are represented internally within OpenSSL as an ASN1_STRING structure which contains a buffer holding the string data and a field holding the buffer length. This contrasts with normal C strings which are repesented as a buffer for the string data which is terminated with a NUL (0) byte. Although not a strict requirement, ASN.1 strings that are parsed using OpenSSL's own "d2i" functions (and other similar parsing functions) as well as any string whose value has been set with the ASN1_STRING_set() function will additionally NUL terminate the byte array in the ASN1_STRING structure. However, it is possible for applications to directly construct valid ASN1_STRING structures which do not NUL terminate the byte array by directly setting the "data" and "length" fields in the ASN1_STRING array. This can also happen by using the ASN1_STRING_set0() function. Numerous OpenSSL functions that print ASN.1 data have been found to assume that the ASN1_STRING byte array will be NUL terminated, even though this is not guaranteed for strings that have been directly constructed. Where an application requests an ASN.1 structure to be printed, and where that ASN.1 structure contains ASN1_STRINGs that have been directly constructed by the application without NUL terminating the "data" field, then a read buffer overrun can occur. The same thing can also occur during name constraints processing of certificates (for example if a certificate has been directly constructed by the application instead of loading it via the OpenSSL parsing functions, and the certificate contains non NUL terminated ASN1_STRING structures). It can also occur in the X509_get1_email(), X509_REQ_get1_email() and X509_get1_ocsp() functions. If a malicious actor can cause an application to directly construct an ASN1_STRING and then process it through one of the affected OpenSSL functions then this issue could be hit. This might result in a crash (causing a Denial of Service attack). It could also result in the disclosure of private memory contents (such as private keys, or sensitive plaintext). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1l (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1k). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2za (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2y). | |||||
| CVE-2021-3516 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 5 more | 2022-02-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
| There's a flaw in libxml2's xmllint in versions before 2.9.11. An attacker who is able to submit a crafted file to be processed by xmllint could trigger a use-after-free. The greatest impact of this flaw is to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. | |||||
| CVE-2015-7977 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more | 2022-02-01 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |

| CVE-2021-21702 | 4 Debian, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Clustered Data Ontap, Communications Diameter Signaling Router and 1 more | 2021-12-10 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| In PHP versions 7.3.x below 7.3.27, 7.4.x below 7.4.15 and 8.0.x below 8.0.2, when using SOAP extension to connect to a SOAP server, a malicious SOAP server could return malformed XML data as a response that would cause PHP to access a null pointer and thus cause a crash. | |||||
| CVE-2020-7071 | 3 Debian, Netapp, Php | 3 Debian Linux, Clustered Data Ontap, Php | 2021-12-10 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In PHP versions 7.3.x below 7.3.26, 7.4.x below 7.4.14 and 8.0.0, when validating URL with functions like filter_var($url, FILTER_VALIDATE_URL), PHP will accept an URL with invalid password as valid URL. This may lead to functions that rely on URL being valid to mis-parse the URL and produce wrong data as components of the URL. | |||||
| CVE-2021-22923 | 4 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Fedora, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2021-12-10 | 2.6 LOW | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| When curl is instructed to get content using the metalink feature, and a user name and password are used to download the metalink XML file, those same credentials are then subsequently passed on to each of the servers from which curl will download or try to download the contents from. Often contrary to the user's expectations and intentions and without telling the user it happened. | |||||
| CVE-2021-22922 | 4 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Fedora, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2021-12-10 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| When curl is instructed to download content using the metalink feature, thecontents is verified against a hash provided in the metalink XML file. The metalink XML file points out to the client how to get the same contentfrom a set of different URLs, potentially hosted by different servers and theclient can then download the file from one or several of them. In a serial orparallel manner. If one of the servers hosting the contents has been breached and the contentsof the specific file on that server is replaced with a modified payload, curlshould detect this when the hash of the file mismatches after a completeddownload. It should remove the contents and instead try getting the contentsfrom another URL. This is not done, and instead such a hash mismatch is onlymentioned in text and the potentially malicious content is kept in the file ondisk. | |||||
| CVE-2020-7070 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2021-12-02 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.34, 7.3.x below 7.3.23 and 7.4.x below 7.4.11, when PHP is processing incoming HTTP cookie values, the cookie names are url-decoded. This may lead to cookies with prefixes like __Host confused with cookies that decode to such prefix, thus leading to an attacker being able to forge cookie which is supposed to be secure. See also CVE-2020-8184 for more information. | |||||
| CVE-2020-7069 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2021-12-02 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |

| CVE-2019-3822 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 4 more | 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 13 more | 2021-06-15 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function creating an outgoing NTLM type-3 header (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:Curl_auth_create_ntlm_type3_message()`), generates the request HTTP header contents based on previously received data. The check that exists to prevent the local buffer from getting overflowed is implemented wrongly (using unsigned math) and as such it does not prevent the overflow from happening. This output data can grow larger than the local buffer if very large 'nt response' data is extracted from a previous NTLMv2 header provided by the malicious or broken HTTP server. Such a 'large value' needs to be around 1000 bytes or more. The actual payload data copied to the target buffer comes from the NTLMv2 type-2 response header. | |||||
| CVE-2021-26994 | 1 Netapp | 1 Clustered Data Ontap | 2021-06-15 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Clustered Data ONTAP versions prior to 9.7P13 and 9.8P3 are susceptible to a vulnerability which could allow single workloads to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) on a cluster node. | |||||
| CVE-2016-2518 | 7 Debian, Freebsd, Netapp and 4 more | 18 Debian Linux, Freebsd, Clustered Data Ontap and 15 more | 2021-06-10 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| The MATCH_ASSOC function in NTP before version 4.2.8p9 and 4.3.x before 4.3.92 allows remote attackers to cause an out-of-bounds reference via an addpeer request with a large hmode value. | |||||

| The datalen parameter in the refclock driver in NTP 4.2.x before 4.2.8p4, and 4.3.x before 4.3.77 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (crash) via a negative input value. | |||||
| CVE-2020-11984 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 13 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 10 more | 2021-06-06 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Apache HTTP server 2.4.32 to 2.4.44 mod_proxy_uwsgi info disclosure and possible RCE | |||||
| CVE-2018-1312 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2021-06-06 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In Apache httpd 2.2.0 to 2.4.29, when generating an HTTP Digest authentication challenge, the nonce sent to prevent reply attacks was not correctly generated using a pseudo-random seed. In a cluster of servers using a common Digest authentication configuration, HTTP requests could be replayed across servers by an attacker without detection. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1302 | 3 Apache, Canonical, Netapp | 6 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2021-06-06 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| When an HTTP/2 stream was destroyed after being handled, the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30 could have written a NULL pointer potentially to an already freed memory. The memory pools maintained by the server make this vulnerability hard to trigger in usual configurations, the reporter and the team could not reproduce it outside debug builds, so it is classified as low risk. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1301 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2021-06-06 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A specially crafted request could have crashed the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30, due to an out of bound access after a size limit is reached by reading the HTTP header. This vulnerability is considered very hard if not impossible to trigger in non-debug mode (both log and build level), so it is classified as low risk for common server usage. | |||||
| CVE-2017-15715 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2021-06-06 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
| In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, the expression specified in <FilesMatch> could match '$' to a newline character in a malicious filename, rather than matching only the end of the filename. This could be exploited in environments where uploads of some files are are externally blocked, but only by matching the trailing portion of the filename. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1303 | 4 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 1 more | 7 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 4 more | 2021-06-06 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A specially crafted HTTP request header could have crashed the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30 due to an out of bound read while preparing data to be cached in shared memory. It could be used as a Denial of Service attack against users of mod_cache_socache. The vulnerability is considered as low risk since mod_cache_socache is not widely used, mod_cache_disk is not concerned by this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1283 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2021-06-06 | 3.5 LOW | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, when mod_session is configured to forward its session data to CGI applications (SessionEnv on, not the default), a remote user may influence their content by using a "Session" header. This comes from the "HTTP_SESSION" variable name used by mod_session to forward its data to CGIs, since the prefix "HTTP_" is also used by the Apache HTTP Server to pass HTTP header fields, per CGI specifications. | |||||
| CVE-2017-15710 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2021-06-06 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| In Apache httpd 2.0.23 to 2.0.65, 2.2.0 to 2.2.34, and 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, mod_authnz_ldap, if configured with AuthLDAPCharsetConfig, uses the Accept-Language header value to lookup the right charset encoding when verifying the user's credentials. If the header value is not present in the charset conversion table, a fallback mechanism is used to truncate it to a two characters value to allow a quick retry (for example, 'en-US' is truncated to 'en'). A header value of less than two characters forces an out of bound write of one NUL byte to a memory location that is not part of the string. In the worst case, quite unlikely, the process would crash which could be used as a Denial of Service attack. In the more likely case, this memory is already reserved for future use and the issue has no effect at all. | |||||
| CVE-2017-3167 | 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more | 15 Http Server, Mac Os X, Debian Linux and 12 more | 2021-06-06 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In Apache httpd 2.2.x before 2.2.33 and 2.4.x before 2.4.26, use of the ap_get_basic_auth_pw() by third-party modules outside of the authentication phase may lead to authentication requirements being bypassed. | |||||
| CVE-2020-11993 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 13 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 10 more | 2021-06-06 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.20 to 2.4.43 When trace/debug was enabled for the HTTP/2 module and on certain traffic edge patterns, logging statements were made on the wrong connection, causing concurrent use of memory pools. Configuring the LogLevel of mod_http2 above "info" will mitigate this vulnerability for unpatched servers. | |||||
| CVE-2019-9517 | 11 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 8 more | 23 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 20 more | 2021-06-06 | 7.8 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
| Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to unconstrained interal data buffering, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker opens the HTTP/2 window so the peer can send without constraint; however, they leave the TCP window closed so the peer cannot actually write (many of) the bytes on the wire. The attacker then sends a stream of requests for a large response object. Depending on how the servers queue the responses, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both. | |||||
| CVE-2019-0217 | 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more | 14 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 11 more | 2021-06-06 | 6.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| In Apache HTTP Server 2.4 release 2.4.38 and prior, a race condition in mod_auth_digest when running in a threaded server could allow a user with valid credentials to authenticate using another username, bypassing configured access control restrictions. | |||||
| CVE-2015-7974 | 4 Debian, Netapp, Ntp and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Clustered Data Ontap, Oncommand Balance and 5 more | 2021-04-26 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 7.7 HIGH |
| NTP 4.x before 4.2.8p6 and 4.3.x before 4.3.90 do not verify peer associations of symmetric keys when authenticating packets, which might allow remote attackers to conduct impersonation attacks via an arbitrary trusted key, aka a "skeleton key." | |||||
| CVE-2015-7973 | 5 Canonical, Freebsd, Netapp and 2 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Freebsd, Clustered Data Ontap and 6 more | 2021-04-26 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
