CVE-2019-3459 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 2 more 2021-07-21 3.3 LOW 6.5 MEDIUM
A heap address information leak while using L2CAP_GET_CONF_OPT was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.1-rc1.
CVE-2020-27825 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2021-05-21 5.4 MEDIUM 5.7 MEDIUM
A use-after-free flaw was found in kernel/trace/ring_buffer.c in Linux kernel (before 5.10-rc1). There was a race problem in trace_open and resize of cpu buffer running parallely on different cpus, may cause a denial of service problem (DOS). This flaw could even allow a local attacker with special user privilege to a kernel information leak threat.
CVE-2013-6461 3 Debian, Nokogiri, Redhat 7 Debian Linux, Nokogiri, Cloudforms Management Engine and 4 more 2020-08-18 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Nokogiri gem 1.5.x and 1.6.x has DoS while parsing XML entities by failing to apply limits
CVE-2015-1350 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg 2020-08-03 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The VFS subsystem in the Linux kernel 3.x provides an incomplete set of requirements for setattr operations that underspecifies removing extended privilege attributes, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (capability stripping) via a failed invocation of a system call, as demonstrated by using chown to remove a capability from the ping or Wireshark dumpcap program.
CVE-2012-1090 3 Linux, Redhat, Suse 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Mrg, Linux Enterprise Desktop and 2 more 2020-07-27 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
The cifs_lookup function in fs/cifs/dir.c in the Linux kernel before 3.2.10 allows local users to cause a denial of service (OOPS) via attempted access to a special file, as demonstrated by a FIFO.
CVE-2020-12826 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat 4 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2020-06-22 4.4 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
A signal access-control issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.6.5, aka CID-7395ea4e65c2. Because exec_id in include/linux/sched.h is only 32 bits, an integer overflow can interfere with a do_notify_parent protection mechanism. A child process can send an arbitrary signal to a parent process in a different security domain. Exploitation limitations include the amount of elapsed time before an integer overflow occurs, and the lack of scenarios where signals to a parent process present a substantial operational threat.
CVE-2016-4470 4 Linux, Novell, Oracle and 1 more 14 Linux Kernel, Suse Linux Enterprise Real Time Extension, Linux and 11 more 2019-12-27 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
The key_reject_and_link function in security/keys/key.c in the Linux kernel through 4.6.3 does not ensure that a certain data structure is initialized, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (system crash) via vectors involving a crafted keyctl request2 command.
CVE-2014-8181 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg 2019-11-09 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The kernel in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and MRG-2 does not clear garbage data for SG_IO buffer, which may leaking sensitive information to userspace.
CVE-2013-6460 3 Debian, Nokogiri, Redhat 7 Debian Linux, Nokogiri, Cloudforms Management Engine and 4 more 2019-11-08 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Nokogiri gem 1.5.x has Denial of Service via infinite loop when parsing XML documents
CVE-2017-15128 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg 2019-10-09 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the hugetlb_mcopy_atomic_pte function in mm/hugetlb.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13.12. A lack of size check could cause a denial of service (BUG).
CVE-2017-15127 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg 2019-10-03 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the hugetlb_mcopy_atomic_pte function in mm/hugetlb.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13. A superfluous implicit page unlock for VM_SHARED hugetlbfs mapping could trigger a local denial of service (BUG).
CVE-2014-8171 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg 2019-04-22 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
The memory resource controller (aka memcg) in the Linux kernel allows local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) by spawning new processes within a memory-constrained cgroup.
CVE-2014-3706 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Mrg 2017-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
ovirt-engine, as used in Red Hat MRG 3, allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers by leveraging failure to verify key attributes in vdsm X.509 certificates.
CVE-2015-7837 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server Aus and 3 more 2017-10-05 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The Linux kernel, as used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, kernel-rt, and Enterprise MRG 2 and when booted with UEFI Secure Boot enabled, allows local users to bypass intended securelevel/secureboot restrictions by leveraging improper handling of secure_boot flag across kexec reboot.
CVE-2015-7553 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg, Kernel-rt 2017-09-21 4.7 MEDIUM 4.7 MEDIUM
Race condition in the kernel in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, kernel-rt and Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2, when the nfnetlink_log module is loaded, allows local users to cause a denial of service (panic) by creating netlink sockets.
