CVE-2022-4904 3 C-ares Project, Fedoraproject, Redhat 4 C-ares, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-01-05 N/A 8.6 HIGH
A flaw was found in the c-ares package. The ares_set_sortlist is missing checks about the validity of the input string, which allows a possible arbitrary length stack overflow. This issue may cause a denial of service or a limited impact on confidentiality and integrity.
CVE-2021-4104 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more 46 Log4j, Fedora, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and 43 more 2023-12-22 6.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
JMSAppender in Log4j 1.2 is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data when the attacker has write access to the Log4j configuration. The attacker can provide TopicBindingName and TopicConnectionFactoryBindingName configurations causing JMSAppender to perform JNDI requests that result in remote code execution in a similar fashion to CVE-2021-44228. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.2 when specifically configured to use JMSAppender, which is not the default. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions.
CVE-2023-5869 2 Postgresql, Redhat 21 Postgresql, Codeready Linux Builder Eus, Codeready Linux Builder Eus For Power Little Endian Eus and 18 more 2023-12-20 N/A 8.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in PostgreSQL that allows authenticated database users to execute arbitrary code through missing overflow checks during SQL array value modification. This issue exists due to an integer overflow during array modification where a remote user can trigger the overflow by providing specially crafted data. This enables the execution of arbitrary code on the target system, allowing users to write arbitrary bytes to memory and extensively read the server's memory.
CVE-2023-39417 3 Debian, Postgresql, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Postgresql, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2023-12-20 N/A 8.8 HIGH
IN THE EXTENSION SCRIPT, a SQL Injection vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL if it uses @extowner@, @extschema@, or @extschema:...@ inside a quoting construct (dollar quoting, '', or ""). If an administrator has installed files of a vulnerable, trusted, non-bundled extension, an attacker with database-level CREATE privilege can execute arbitrary code as the bootstrap superuser.
CVE-2021-41817 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 3 more 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Factory and 6 more 2023-08-08 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Date.parse in the date gem through 3.2.0 for Ruby allows ReDoS (regular expression Denial of Service) via a long string. The fixed versions are 3.2.1, 3.1.2, 3.0.2, and 2.0.1.
CVE-2022-0711 3 Debian, Haproxy, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Haproxy, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2022-07-21 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in the way HAProxy processed HTTP responses containing the "Set-Cookie2" header. This flaw could allow an attacker to send crafted HTTP response packets which lead to an infinite loop, eventually resulting in a denial of service condition. The highest threat from this vulnerability is availability.
CVE-2021-41819 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 3 more 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Factory and 6 more 2022-05-08 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
CGI::Cookie.parse in Ruby through 2.6.8 mishandles security prefixes in cookie names. This also affects the CGI gem through 0.3.0 for Ruby.
CVE-2019-9513 11 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 8 more 21 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 18 more 2022-02-22 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to resource loops, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker creates multiple request streams and continually shuffles the priority of the streams in a way that causes substantial churn to the priority tree. This can consume excess CPU.
CVE-2019-9511 11 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 8 more 21 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 18 more 2022-02-22 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to window size manipulation and stream prioritization manipulation, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker requests a large amount of data from a specified resource over multiple streams. They manipulate window size and stream priority to force the server to queue the data in 1-byte chunks. Depending on how efficiently this data is queued, this can consume excess CPU, memory, or both.
CVE-2016-0742 6 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 6 Xcode, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 3 more 2021-12-15 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
The resolver in nginx before 1.8.1 and 1.9.x before 1.9.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid pointer dereference and worker process crash) via a crafted UDP DNS response.
CVE-2021-20270 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Pygments and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Pygments and 4 more 2021-12-10 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An infinite loop in SMLLexer in Pygments versions 1.5 to 2.7.3 may lead to denial of service when performing syntax highlighting of a Standard ML (SML) source file, as demonstrated by input that only contains the "exception" keyword.
CVE-2019-10192 5 Canonical, Debian, Oracle and 2 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Communications Operations Monitor and 7 more 2021-10-28 6.5 MEDIUM 7.2 HIGH
A heap-buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the Redis hyperloglog data structure versions 3.x before 3.2.13, 4.x before 4.0.14 and 5.x before 5.0.4. By carefully corrupting a hyperloglog using the SETRANGE command, an attacker could trick Redis interpretation of dense HLL encoding to write up to 3 bytes beyond the end of a heap-allocated buffer.
CVE-2021-32027 2 Postgresql, Redhat 4 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 1 more 2021-09-14 6.5 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in postgresql in versions before 13.3, before 12.7, before 11.12, before 10.17 and before 9.6.22. While modifying certain SQL array values, missing bounds checks let authenticated database users write arbitrary bytes to a wide area of server memory. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2019-11041 6 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 6 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 3 more 2021-07-22 5.8 MEDIUM 7.1 HIGH
When PHP EXIF extension is parsing EXIF information from an image, e.g. via exif_read_data() function, in PHP versions 7.1.x below 7.1.31, 7.2.x below 7.2.21 and 7.3.x below 7.3.8 it is possible to supply it with data what will cause it to read past the allocated buffer. This may lead to information disclosure or crash.
CVE-2019-11042 6 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 6 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 3 more 2021-07-22 5.8 MEDIUM 7.1 HIGH
CVE-2019-9517 11 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 8 more 23 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 20 more 2021-06-06 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to unconstrained interal data buffering, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker opens the HTTP/2 window so the peer can send without constraint; however, they leave the TCP window closed so the peer cannot actually write (many of) the bytes on the wire. The attacker then sends a stream of requests for a large response object. Depending on how the servers queue the responses, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both.
CVE-2019-9518 10 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 7 more 19 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 16 more 2021-05-27 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a flood of empty frames, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker sends a stream of frames with an empty payload and without the end-of-stream flag. These frames can be DATA, HEADERS, CONTINUATION and/or PUSH_PROMISE. The peer spends time processing each frame disproportionate to attack bandwidth. This can consume excess CPU.
CVE-2019-9514 12 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 9 more 29 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 26 more 2020-12-09 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a reset flood, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker opens a number of streams and sends an invalid request over each stream that should solicit a stream of RST_STREAM frames from the peer. Depending on how the peer queues the RST_STREAM frames, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both.
CVE-2019-9515 11 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 8 more 23 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 20 more 2020-10-22 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a settings flood, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker sends a stream of SETTINGS frames to the peer. Since the RFC requires that the peer reply with one acknowledgement per SETTINGS frame, an empty SETTINGS frame is almost equivalent in behavior to a ping. Depending on how efficiently this data is queued, this can consume excess CPU, memory, or both.
CVE-2019-5419 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 2 more 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 3 more 2020-10-16 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
There is a possible denial of service vulnerability in Action View (Rails) <5.2.2.1, <5.1.6.2, <5.0.7.2, <4.2.11.1 where specially crafted accept headers can cause action view to consume 100% cpu and make the server unresponsive.
CVE-2019-5418 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 2 more 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 3 more 2020-10-16 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
There is a File Content Disclosure vulnerability in Action View <5.2.2.1, <5.1.6.2, <5.0.7.2, <4.2.11.1 and v3 where specially crafted accept headers can cause contents of arbitrary files on the target system's filesystem to be exposed.
