CVE-2021-4104 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more 46 Log4j, Fedora, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and 43 more 2023-12-22 6.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
JMSAppender in Log4j 1.2 is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data when the attacker has write access to the Log4j configuration. The attacker can provide TopicBindingName and TopicConnectionFactoryBindingName configurations causing JMSAppender to perform JNDI requests that result in remote code execution in a similar fashion to CVE-2021-44228. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.2 when specifically configured to use JMSAppender, which is not the default. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions.
CVE-2021-40690 3 Apache, Debian, Oracle 18 Cxf, Santuario Xml Security For Java, Tomee and 15 more 2023-08-18 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
All versions of Apache Santuario - XML Security for Java prior to 2.2.3 and 2.1.7 are vulnerable to an issue where the "secureValidation" property is not passed correctly when creating a KeyInfo from a KeyInfoReference element. This allows an attacker to abuse an XPath Transform to extract any local .xml files in a RetrievalMethod element.
CVE-2022-23302 5 Apache, Broadcom, Netapp and 2 more 24 Log4j, Brocade Sannav, Snapmanager and 21 more 2022-07-25 6.0 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
JMSSink in all versions of Log4j 1.x is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data when the attacker has write access to the Log4j configuration or if the configuration references an LDAP service the attacker has access to. The attacker can provide a TopicConnectionFactoryBindingName configuration causing JMSSink to perform JNDI requests that result in remote code execution in a similar fashion to CVE-2021-4104. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.x when specifically configured to use JMSSink, which is not the default. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions.
CVE-2022-23307 3 Apache, Oracle, Qos 23 Chainsaw, Log4j, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and 20 more 2022-07-25 9.0 HIGH 8.8 HIGH

CVE-2021-37714 4 Jsoup, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 13 Jsoup, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci, Banking Trade Finance and 10 more 2022-07-25 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
jsoup is a Java library for working with HTML. Those using jsoup versions prior to 1.14.2 to parse untrusted HTML or XML may be vulnerable to DOS attacks. If the parser is run on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to get stuck (loop indefinitely until cancelled), to complete more slowly than usual, or to throw an unexpected exception. This effect may support a denial of service attack. The issue is patched in version 1.14.2. There are a few available workarounds. Users may rate limit input parsing, limit the size of inputs based on system resources, and/or implement thread watchdogs to cap and timeout parse runtimes.
CVE-2021-35515 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 25 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 22 more 2022-07-25 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
When reading a specially crafted 7Z archive, the construction of the list of codecs that decompress an entry can result in an infinite loop. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' sevenz package.
CVE-2021-35516 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 23 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 20 more 2022-07-25 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
When reading a specially crafted 7Z archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' sevenz package.
CVE-2020-28052 3 Apache, Bouncycastle, Oracle 19 Karaf, Legion-of-the-bouncy-castle-java-crytography-api, Banking Corporate Lending Process Management and 16 more 2022-07-25 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Legion of the Bouncy Castle BC Java 1.65 and 1.66. The OpenBSDBCrypt.checkPassword utility method compared incorrect data when checking the password, allowing incorrect passwords to indicate they were matching with previously hashed ones that were different.
CVE-2021-35517 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 26 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 23 more 2022-07-25 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
When reading a specially crafted TAR archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' tar package.
