This RCE (Remote Code Execution) vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 8.5, allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code which has high impact to confidentiality, high impact to integrity, high impact to availability, and requires no user interaction. Atlassian recommends that Bamboo Data Center and Server customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions: Bamboo Data Center and Server 9.2: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 9.2.7. | CVE-2017-8907 | 1 Atlassian | 1 Bamboo | 2019-10-03 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| Atlassian Bamboo 5.x before 5.15.7 and 6.x before 6.0.1 did not correctly check if a user creating a deployment project had the edit permission and therefore the rights to do so. An attacker who can login to Bamboo as a user without the edit permission for deployment projects is able to use this vulnerability, provided there is an existing plan with a green build, to create a deployment project and execute arbitrary code on an available Bamboo Agent. By default a local agent is enabled; this means that code execution can occur on the system hosting Bamboo as the user running Bamboo. | |||||
| CVE-2017-9514 | 1 Atlassian | 1 Bamboo | 2019-10-03 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| Bamboo before 6.0.5, 6.1.x before 6.1.4, and 6.2.x before 6.2.1 had a REST endpoint that parsed a YAML file and did not sufficiently restrict which classes could be loaded. An attacker who can log in to Bamboo as a user is able to exploit this vulnerability to execute Java code of their choice on systems that have vulnerable versions of Bamboo. | |||||
| CVE-2015-6576 | 1 Atlassian | 1 Bamboo | 2019-05-03 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| Bamboo 2.2 before 5.8.5 and 5.9.x before 5.9.7 allows remote attackers with access to the Bamboo web interface to execute arbitrary Java code via an unspecified resource. | |||||
| CVE-2017-18042 | 1 Atlassian | 1 Bamboo | 2019-04-29 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| The update user administration resource in Atlassian Bamboo before version 6.3.1 allows remote attackers to modify user data including passwords via a Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2018-5224 | 2 Atlassian, Microsoft | 2 Bamboo, Windows | 2018-04-24 | 9.0 HIGH | 8.8 HIGH |
| Bamboo did not correctly check if a configured Mercurial repository URI contained values that the Windows operating system may consider argument parameters. An attacker who has permission to create a repository in Bamboo, edit an existing plan in Bamboo that has a non-linked Mercurial repository, or create a plan in Bamboo either globally or in a project using Bamboo Specs can can execute code of their choice on systems that run a vulnerable version of Bamboo on the Windows operating system. All versions of Bamboo starting with 2.7.0 before 6.3.3 (the fixed version for 6.3.x) and from version 6.4.0 before 6.4.1 (the fixed version for 6.4.x) running on the Windows operating system are affected by this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2017-18080 | 1 Atlassian | 1 Bamboo | 2018-02-13 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| The saveConfigureSecurity resource in Atlassian Bamboo before version 6.3.1 allows remote attackers to modify security settings via a Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. | |||||
