| CVE-2016-5018 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 15 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 12 more | 2023-12-08 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M9, 8.5.0 to 8.5.4, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.36, 7.0.0 to 7.0.70 and 6.0.0 to 6.0.45 a malicious web application was able to bypass a configured SecurityManager via a Tomcat utility method that was accessible to web applications. | |||||
| CVE-2021-23926 | 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Xmlbeans, Debian Linux, Oncommand Unified Manager Core Package and 3 more | 2022-07-25 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| The XML parsers used by XMLBeans up to version 2.6.0 did not set the properties needed to protect the user from malicious XML input. Vulnerabilities include possibilities for XML Entity Expansion attacks. Affects XMLBeans up to and including v2.6.0. | |||||
| CVE-2020-10683 | 5 Canonical, Dom4j Project, Netapp and 2 more | 38 Ubuntu Linux, Dom4j, Oncommand Api Services and 35 more | 2022-07-25 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| dom4j before 2.0.3 and 2.1.x before 2.1.3 allows external DTDs and External Entities by default, which might enable XXE attacks. However, there is popular external documentation from OWASP showing how to enable the safe, non-default behavior in any application that uses dom4j. | |||||
| CVE-2017-7658 | 5 Debian, Eclipse, Hp and 2 more | 20 Debian Linux, Jetty, Xp P9000 and 17 more | 2021-07-20 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In Eclipse Jetty Server, versions 9.2.x and older, 9.3.x (all non HTTP/1.x configurations), and 9.4.x (all HTTP/1.x configurations), when presented with two content-lengths headers, Jetty ignored the second. When presented with a content-length and a chunked encoding header, the content-length was ignored (as per RFC 2616). If an intermediary decided on the shorter length, but still passed on the longer body, then body content could be interpreted by Jetty as a pipelined request. If the intermediary was imposing authorization, the fake pipelined request would bypass that authorization. | |||||
| CVE-2017-7657 | 5 Debian, Eclipse, Hp and 2 more | 18 Debian Linux, Jetty, Xp P9000 and 15 more | 2021-07-20 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In Eclipse Jetty, versions 9.2.x and older, 9.3.x (all configurations), and 9.4.x (non-default configuration with RFC2616 compliance enabled), transfer-encoding chunks are handled poorly. The chunk length parsing was vulnerable to an integer overflow. Thus a large chunk size could be interpreted as a smaller chunk size and content sent as chunk body could be interpreted as a pipelined request. If Jetty was deployed behind an intermediary that imposed some authorization and that intermediary allowed arbitrarily large chunks to be passed on unchanged, then this flaw could be used to bypass the authorization imposed by the intermediary as the fake pipelined request would not be interpreted by the intermediary as a request. | |||||
| CVE-2021-23901 | 2 Apache, Netapp | 2 Nutch, Snap Creator Framework | 2021-05-17 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| An XML external entity (XXE) injection vulnerability was discovered in the Nutch DmozParser and is known to affect Nutch versions < 1.18. XML external entity injection (also known as XXE) is a web security vulnerability that allows an attacker to interfere with an application's processing of XML data. It often allows an attacker to view files on the application server filesystem, and to interact with any back-end or external systems that the application itself can access. This issue is fixed in Apache Nutch 1.18. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18311 | 8 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 5 more | 18 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 15 more | 2020-08-24 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Perl before 5.26.3 and 5.28.x before 5.28.1 has a buffer overflow via a crafted regular expression that triggers invalid write operations. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18314 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E-series Santricity Os Controller and 5 more | 2020-07-15 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Perl before 5.26.3 has a buffer overflow via a crafted regular expression that triggers invalid write operations. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18313 | 6 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 9 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more | 2020-07-15 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| Perl before 5.26.3 has a buffer over-read via a crafted regular expression that triggers disclosure of sensitive information from process memory. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18312 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E-series Santricity Os Controller and 5 more | 2020-07-15 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Perl before 5.26.3 and 5.28.0 before 5.28.1 has a buffer overflow via a crafted regular expression that triggers invalid write operations. | |||||
